The Apple watch has grown up and found its identity

On the 12th September 2018, Apple revealed their upcoming new products that are due to drop in October 2018.

Although there are a number of products I would love to mention, today I will be focusing on the new Apple Watch series 4.

Apple’s first watch launched 3 years ago and generally with a new product launch there are challenges with regards to what the product should do. However with this new watch I believe it has evolved progressively expanding with new features to align with its final goal which I am certain is fitness, health and communication.

The redesigned and re-engineered Apple watch comes with a new built in cellular helping you to stay connected when they do not have your phone.

The bigger display allows the owner to see more of the infograph watch face. This includes, Air Quality Index, UV Index, Heart Rate, Activity, Music, Workout, Breathe, Weather

The new Digital Crown has been created to navigate the watch without obstructing the display. It is also used to generate an ECG reading and a snapshot of your heart data.

Although I have the Samsung watch, in my opinion the new series 4 Apple Watch has exciting features such as the walkie talkie and the capability of changing the straps to suit your style.

With the new health features and additional data functionality will Apple be another company looking to compete in the health sector?

Will you be purchasing the new Apple watch and what will you use it for? Let’s watch this space.
